Consolidated Driving Programs Inc. (CDP) was formed in the early 1980's in response to the need for the development and administration of a driver certification program for emergency vehicle operators (EVOC). Its success in this area led to the development of an Advanced Driving Maneuvers Program and a Strategic Driving program specifically designed to fit the unique needs of commercial and industrial clients.
  Today, in addition to these core driving programs, Consolidated Driving Programs, Inc. offers classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction for the beginning driver, driving instruction for the special-needs student, and behind-the wheel driver evaluations and training for drivers with mental or physical disabilities.
   In response to the adoption of Graduated Drivers License programs by many states, Consolidated Driving Programs, Inc. has taken a leadership role in the research and publication of training and evaluation programs designed to assist the parent in the important job of teaching safe driving habits to their son or daughter. CDP's low-cost, common sense approach to this task provides the parent-instructor with the information and teaching strategies needed to produce a safer driver. This approach uses instructional techniques developed and used for the last twenty-five years by CDP professional driver education instructors to prepare drivers for the complex challenge of today's traffic environment.
